The Planned Giving Counsel of Simcoe County invites you to join our dynamic and active organization.

If you are a professional involved in estate planning or fundraising, join us to receive the support you require for professional development and planned giving strategies.

We invite you to join the Counsel if:

• Your charity is planning to implement a planned giving strategy
• Your charity has a planned giving program
• You are a professional fundraiser dedicated to professional development
• You are a financial planner, an estate lawyer, insurance representative, an accountant, or other allied professional involved in estate planning

What to expect when you join the Counsel

The Counsel meets once a month and has a wide-range of learning experiences for professionals, charity board members and members of the public. You are also welcomed to invite your donors to participate in the Planned Giving Seminars hosted by the Counsel.

We will help charities begin a planned giving program, and provide ongoing advice and assistance to our members.

By raising awareness of planned giving in our communities, we help prospective donors learn how a planned gift makes a difference to their favourite charity, and to their own tax issues at estate planning time.

Members of the Planned Giving Counsel of Simcoe County are also available to speak to service clubs and interested groups about the ways we can all make a difference in our communities, and how ordinary people can make substantial contributions to their charity of choice.
